InstaYaar (Joshful Apps Private Limited) lets users request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time.

How to delete your account

Open the InstaYaar app → Profile → Settings → Delete Account & Data, or
Email hello@instayaar.com from your registered contact with the subject “Account Deletion Request”.

We deactivate the account immediately and permanently delete personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep under Indian tax law.

InstaYaar (operated by Joshful Apps) empowers users to request full or partial deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time, in full compliance with Google Play User Data policies and Indian privacy regulations.

Option 1: Delete via Mobile App

Fastest method with instant OTP verification

Open the InstaYaar App on your Android / iOS phone.
Tap on your Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
Go to Settings (Gear Icon) → Account Settings.
Tap on Delete Account & Data.
Confirm via OTP. Your account is immediately deactivated.

Option 2: Web Deletion Request

If app is uninstalled or you lost device access

Fill out the official request form below. Our Trust & Safety team will verify your registered phone number and initiate the permanent deletion process within 24 to 48 hours.

Data Handling & Retention Policy

What We Permanently Delete

•Profile & Identity: Full name, bio, date of birth, gender, profile photos, and companion showcase images.
•Authentication & Credentials: Registered mobile number, password hashes, and active auth tokens.
•DigiLocker & Facial Verification: KYC tokens, Aadhaar verification payloads, and facial matching vectors are completely purged.
•Chat & Messages: All private encrypted messaging threads, attachments, and timestamps.
•Device & Location Logs: FCM push notification tokens, IP logs, and last-known geolocations.

What We Retain & Legal Basis

•Tax & Financial Invoices: Payment receipts, GST tax invoices, and gateway transaction IDs are retained for up to 7 years as mandated by Indian statutory tax laws (GST Act 2017 & Income Tax Act 1961).
•Safety & Fraud Prevention Logs: De-identified dispute records, fraud alert flags, and safety violation reports are retained for up to 90 days to prevent repeat abuse, resolve chargebacks, or comply with lawful police directives.
•Statutory Audits: De-identified aggregated platform performance records without any personal identifiable information (PII).
